Sharon comes from a rich legacy of ministry. At the age of twelve, she felt God’s calling to preach His Word. She started in full-time ministry at fifteen years of age. Sharon has traveled throughout the United States evangelizing, speaking at conferences, was a soloist with Nancy Harmon Ministries, served as Vice President of the Apple of His Eye Ministries, Anaheim, CA and has been a frequent guest of the Love Special, TBN, Daystar and Cornerstone Television Network. She founded Loving Life Cancer Recovery in 1995 and today it continues to be an intricate part of her ministry. She has written a book entitled 'Soul Prep'. Each writing is designed to help you grow deeper and move forward in your relationship with God. She has served as Senior Pastor in Pennsylvania and Georgia. In September 2016, Sharon accepted the position of Senior Pastor at Hope Alive Foursquare Church.
Sharon has one son, Justin, who is creatively gifted and leadership minded. Justin’s heart for people is evident through his volunteer work around the world. Justin is married to Kynada, and they have three children, Jeshua, Azarah, and Kynza Hope.
As lead pastor of Hope Alive, Sharon preaches God's Word in a practical, applicable way. What good is it to preach/teach if you can't understand? You will leave with understanding, empowered, encouraged and enthused to keep walking the walk and to share Jesus with others.
Teresa Hurt, Worship Leader
Teresa is the Worship Leader at Hope Alive. She is an anointed musician and singer.
Her desire is to lead others into God’s divine presence through praise, thanksgiving and intimate worship, that you may experience the miracle of God’s love.
"Make a joyful noise to the Lord everyone. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know that the Lord his is God: it is he that has made us and not we ourselves. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise: be thankful to him, and bless his name." Psalms 100: 1-4
We believe in expressive worship to current choruses and hymns as a priority in our services. The worship time gives freedom for the believer to express his/her love to God in Biblical ways, but does not require a person to worship in a certain way.
